CPU Core Architecture.

Hello.

I have just received a GT King Pro.
When I checked the CPU Core Architecture with an app called AIDA64 I got the following readings.
2 x Arm Cortex A53 @ 1800 GHz.
4 x Arm Cortex A73 @ 1704 GHz.
I understand the 4 x Arm Cortex A73 should read 2208 GHz ?
Can you explain this please ?

I am not an expert.
I got the 4 x Arm Cortex A73 2208 GHz from several reviews which have been done on the GT King Pro on Youtube.

the same question 2个A53是1.8没有疑问，和楼上的还不一样。现在4个A73默认是1.7.全功率也是1.7么

Here is the email I received from them this morning.

"Hi,
The default frequency of the S922X is 1.8Ghz, and the overclocking can reach 2.2Ghz. However, because Amlogic claims that the S922X overclocking reaches 2.2Ghz, the product will be unstable, and the chip will overheat . Some problems occur during use, and 1.8Gh z is stable. The best frequency of operation, in order to maintain the stability of t he product, we began to set the default frequency of the S922X product to 1.8Ghz.
If the customer wants, we can restore the firmware running at the highest frequency of 2.2Ghz, but this may make the product unstable.

I'm a bit puzzled, I have just got this box and have installed the latest firmware on it, I ran cpu-z and based on me having the latest firmware and the above response from beelink mine should be running at 1.8ghz because they say they have incorporated this into the firmware, but cpu-z says mine is 2.2ghz. so do I not have then latest firmware? I only asked on the forum a couple of days ago if I have the latest and was told I do via OTA.

My streams on cinema hd have been slightly choppy sometimes, more do than my old EBOX T8-V box which is a few years old seemed smoother. So I am wondering if the issue is the CPU running too hot then?

This seems all a bit of a mess though as this could all seem very misleading and bordering on false advertising.

Hi there

Sorry for not replying in time

Currently, only the wifi6 version can work normally at 2.2Ghz
Other version only work normally at 1.7Ghz
It can not be adjusted
