BLUETOOTH RANGE

HI,

I HAVE A ANOTHER ISSUE WITH BLUETOOTH, THE RANGE IS BARELY A METER AND CAN ONLY USE BLUETOOTH DEVICES WHEN I VERY CLOSE TO THE ANDROID BOX, IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS ISSUE ? SINCE IN ITS CURRENT STATE ITS NEARLY UNUSABLE !!.

Hi, I have now tried having a USB 3 device connected and USB 2 Cable or USB 2 key connected in the other USB 3 port and Bluetooth range is fine, but once I leave one or two USB 3 devices Bluetooth range is horrible again so not sure if it might also be a driver/software issue

Bluetooth audio works fine for me in the whole room the box is.
You might have interference from other devices, a bad bluetooth reciever or the bloetooth of your box might be damaged.
Not a general problem.
Also your capslock is stuck.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, it does not seem to be a interference issue I switched off all Wifi devices etc hopefully its not hardware issue either but for my Bluetooth keyboard or PS 4 controller to work properly I have to be barley a meter away and the devices start working well, but once I move a few centimeters they stop working so cant use comfortably from a couch two or three meters away!!  The GT-KING is still on firmware of 08052019 so not the latest and not sure its just a Firmware issue if hardware than maybe I need to RMA it.

Have you tried connecting GT-King with other devices? Can it be used normally?

The GT-King is working normally but the Bluetooth range is really short about a meter when I tried with keyboard or PS4 controller and within that meter range the keyboard and controller work.  The keyboard and controller I also tried with PC or tablet and Bluetooth rang is about 5 meters so issue is not with the Bluetooth devices I used but seems its the GT-KING, is it possible that its a software/firmware issue ?

We tested GT-King's Bluetooth but didn't encounter this problem. It may be caused by the falling off of your machine's antenna. In the figure, the No. 1 antenna on the left is the Bluetooth + WIFI public antenna; the second on the right is the WIFI. Antenna, you can try to re-fasten the antenna.

Thanks for the indication, but I assume if I open I lose the warranty on the product ?  It seems I would need to reapply thermal paste correct ?

I bought GT-King on the 28th of May from GeekBuying shipped from Italy, shall I check with them or its something I need to check with Beelink directly on beelinkservice@bee-link.com ?

Hi, I finally checked the Bluetooth antenna and it was disconnected, but it looks more of a bad assembly job in the first place with sticky paste on connector itself ! picture in post below.

The main issue remained !,  than I realised that when I disconnect USB 3.0 devices  like an external USB 3 HD and USB 3 key, BLUETOOTH and WIFI 2.4 start working correctly with long ranges, the GT KING is not properly shielded against USB 3 interference, does anyone have any suggestions on how to shield GT-KING against USB 3 interference so I can use the android box to its full,  the GT KING has issues even on the Android side,  YOUTUBE video corruption,status bar access and does not handle DS4 controller natively etc. too many issues for a not so cheap android box.
