Hello. I've bought the new GT1 tv box. I've conected a logitech c270 cam. Works well with default camera application but not with skype, tango, viber, etc. With this apps the video is black. I think the apps can´t initialize the cam. I've discovered if I power on the box, close skype from task, open the camera app, close the app camera and then I open skype , all works fine, but I need to do this. Thanks
I figured out the problem. I bought a c270 Logitech camera and had the exact same problem. Mic works but no picture. Then I borrowed a Logitech n321 camera that has external power (plugs into wall) and it worked! A bit laggy but it worked. The problem is the USB isn't supplying the c270 enough power so I'm going to order a powered USB hub with an ac adapter and see if that solves this for the c270 camera. I'll try posting again once I test this out.
Have any of you had any luck connecting any camera to the beelink gt1? I want to use skype but it seems difficult to find a suitable camera. I've tryed old cameras I have here (kinect and eye toy) but none seems to work.
What would that do? I'm not familiar with "Google Legacy Camera". The C270 works with the stock android camera app on the GT1, it just doesn't work with any other app that would use the camera like skype, viber, etc, etc. The camera initially turns on, but as soon as the person on the other end accepts your call, the camera shuts off. I believe this is the issue everyone else is experiencing. I can however use skype and that same camera on an older android box without issue.
Hi, yesterday i tested the 8 year old camera Microsoft LifeCam NX-3000 (without external power) connected directly to GT1. Worked fine with Skype, Messenger and Camera app from GP.....
