SATA connector cable ?

I just recieved my X45 premium today.

SATA connector cable is not seperate like in many review/unboxing.
It already connected and secured using "black tape" on the back cover.
Is it the new packaging or ??

My X55 arrived the same as you describe, also the outer box was sealed, so it's new.
