SER7 not staying awake

just got and setup a SER7, AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS

set windows settings to never sleep, set the program that needs it to keep computer awake and still that thing will not stay awake

Is there anywhere else I need to make changes so that I can force the computer to not go into sleep when I need it to stay awake?

check the power settings under ADVANCED.

see if hibernate is set on. for some reason my machine was set to 180 minutes by default in windows 11

Thank you that did the trick, had to find the old style control panel to get to that setting but it worked. It was set to turn off the harddrive after 1 min
