I just purchased 3 of these from Amazon.ca and the wired LAN speeds are just terrible! I have several other older android boxes that stream from my local LAN perfectly fine (S802) but these S905X boxes are just horrible! I have played with advanced settings in Kodi to adjust buffers etc but nothing works. I simply cannot stream MKV files over local LAN without major buffering issues.

When I went poking around the hardware info in Kodi I noticed the CPU temperature was 122F! Whereas my older S802 box runs at 32F. Is this just a reporting error in Kodi? Or are these boxes actually burning up at 122F? No wonder they don't work properly. These will be going back to Amazon I'm afraid.

Hi ..  don't panic ..  122F is normal working box ..  it equivalent to 50C..

Can install temperature apps to check..

Do factory reset..

Hold reset button and plug in power until android logo pop up and release ..  select factory reset

Sorry for the panic, I had my C and F reversed :(

More info... I just tried WiFi and it works blazing fast and streaming from local LAN works perfect with WiFi. The ethernet port or ethernet driver must be broken because I get very slow speed and buffering problems when using ethernet.
