KODI 17 Krypton 64 bit version: unable to install it

I can only install Kodi 17 32bit  and not the 64 bit version.
I read on the net that is because on this tv box is installed the 32-bit version of Android 6.0

Is it true?

yes, 64 bit programs only run in a 64 bit version of the OS. GT1 runs a 32 bit even thou the processor is capable of running the 64 bit OS.
So we have to stik with software that are 32 bit ;)
