SER8 (Radeon 780M) Lightroom crashes

Anyone is experiencing Lightroom crashes on APU with R 780M when using tools like masking, people detection, lens blur, etc? I've bought SER8 to work with Lightroom and those crashes makes it almost useless...lightroom is slowly eating more and more RAM and then crashes.

It looks like Adrenalin drivers have some bug or so. I've tried 24.1.1 and 24.8.1 and 24.10.1 but still the same :/

Maybe someone know what (if) there is an Adrenalin drivers version that works fine with Lightroom? Maybe some BIOS adjustments?

Please Download the AMD tool and reinstall the drivers.  ,  https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html

Please send us a picture of SN number and BIOS version .
So we would be able to know whether it is latest BIOS and send you files accordingly.

Thanks for tips but Ryzen 8845HS is supported starting from 2024.1.1 version. I've already tried it and a few other as well - no luck :(

**②Please take out one RAM and leave the other one in it to test if the RAM is defective or not.** You can also use Memtest software to test the RAM.

**③Please change another power supply.**

**④Overheating. If your PC is overheating, please check if the fan spins. You can also turn off the turbo boost. Go to control panel ---power option---change to High performance--- change plan setting---advanced setting ---processor power management--- change both 100% to 99% , click save.**

I had similar problems with Lightroom.

As a solution, I uninstalled the complete AMD Adrenaline driver package and only installed the Adrenaline minimal setup. Since then I have no more problems with Lightroom & Photoshop.

The problem was very similar for me. Photoshop used more and more RAM until the computer finally froze. Since changing the driver, I have no longer experienced this.
