Replace NVME 500GB to 1TB

I just receved my S12 Pro and have a 1T NVME and looking to replace the currnelty installed 500GB.


What is the best was to do this?  I do have an enclosure to use as an external driive but not sure if just copying the 500 to 1T then swapping out the disks in the box will work...
