I have a Mini-S (2 built-in HDMI ports).

I would like to have a monitor on HDMI port 1, and a HDMI port 2 feeding an HDMI splitter.

The output of the splitter will go to 2 mirrored monitors.

I have the following splitter:

"OREI 4K@60Hz 1 in 2 Out HDMI Duplicator Mirror only - with Scaler 1x2 2 Ports with Full Ultra HD, NOT for Multi Monitors or to extend Monitor, 1080p & 3D Supports EDID Control - UHD-PRO102"

I get no video on either output of the splitter.

Pretty sure the Mini-S and splitter aren't talking.  The Mini-S does not recognize a second monitor.

(Note:  Connecting either of the other 2 monitors directly to the 2nd port on the Mini-S works fine.)

Is there a compatibility I'm not aware of that might cause the Mini-S and the OREI splitter incompatible with each other?

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you!

Hi there,

This item model only supports dual screens, it doesn't support splitter.

Thank you for the response.

Can you please explain how this does not support an HDMI splitter?
