I just bought a SER7 with the 7840HS which includes a 780M Integrated GPU. AMD drivers freeze the entire system a few minutes after installation. Every time you reboot it works fine for a couple minutes and then freezes completely and requires a hard reset. The machine cannot be used with the graphics driver installed. It doesn't matter if I install it with or without adrenaline. The only way I am able to use this computer is by using the "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" driver which runs horribly.
Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

HI,
Glad to help, Sorry for the trouble when using.

Please try some solutions here :
①Please take out the RAM ,please clean the contacts of the RAM with a rubber. Here is the tutorial https://mega.nz/file/XqZX0TIR#_D ... hBpQ959cg5U3Yw4u1Cc**

②Please take out one RAM and leave the other one in it to test if the RAM is defective or not.** You can also use Memtest software to test the RAM.

③Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.**

④Please change another power supply.**

⑤Overheating. If your PC is overheating, please check if the fan spins. You can also turn off the turbo boost. Go to control panel ---power option---change to High performance--- change plan setting---advanced setting ---processor power management--- change both 100% to 99% , click save.**

⑥Update graphics driver:  Please uninstall the graphic driver in the device manager and install the new one. Here is the driver source :[https://www.bee-link.com/cms/support/productlist?id=7](https://www.bee-link.com/cms/support/productlist?id=7)*, click the item model , then you can find the related driver.

I myself tried to downgrade BIOS from v38 to v31: 3 days no crashing, no freezing. The only minus is a stretched beelink sting logo during startup on my ultra-wide monitor, but only until Windows starts, then everything is Ok.

USB drive must be formatted in FAT32.
