Simple question that I cannot seem to find the answer to anywhere - on Amazon it says the operating system supplied is DOS

I am sure this is not the case - Is it Windows 11 Pro?

This is the device : Beelink SER6 Mini Gaming PC, Ryzen 9 6900HX 8-Core 16-Thread 4.9GHz Processor, 32G DDR5 RAM 1T PCIe4.0 SSD, 12-Core 2400MHz 4K@144Hz, USB4.0/USB3.2/DP/HDMI/ WiFi6 BT5.2

Please be advised to create an installer media with Windows 11, I highly recommend not to use any pre-installed build on a Mini PC. I got the SER6 2024 edition with AMD Ryzen 6900HX (not the Pro, not the Max) with the new case design and these are my findings:

1. Installation error 2503 was shown with LibreOffice
2. Virtual RAM was disabled on the Beelink pre-installed Windows 11 Pro build

I have had many issues with running programs because of the disabled Virtual RAM and before I run into other issues with the pre-installed build I have re-installed Windows 11 from scratch, this is the only method to be 100% sure that nothing that was set or configured in a pre-installed build is causing any issues.

Better safe than sorry.

Could you please send us a picture of the error when you install LibreOffice ?
Can it be enabled if you install clean windows system ?

Hi I was able to install LibreOffice after I did reset the W11 Pro installation, the error 2503 was shown because for some reason, there is an issue with permission for the temp folder in the pre-build that came from the factory.

I also did not see the Error 2503 after I did a clean W11 Pro installation.

While I’m not sure if it was the VRAM or what, I had a fatal system error within a week of first turning on my mini-PC (SER6 Max, I believe), and I’d only installed and run Steam a couple times at that point, so I had no idea what the issue was, but I too reinstalled windows 11 from scratch and it’s worked fine since, about a year and a half now. So I definitely think its probably a good idea indeed to reinstall windows fresh as soon as you get your machine.

Maybe the windows update cause the problem, like the driver was incompatible.
