Erratic bandwidth speeds (Ethernet adapter)

Im having some really bad performence with my ethernet adapter.I have a 1.5 fibre line and ever since ive got the ser 7 my download and upload speeds drop from 989mb to 94 mb when i check my other desktop i dont have these issue any 1 else having trouble with erratic ethernet speedsthe adapter is from what my device manager says its an intel controller  (3) 1225-v

It might be the cabling.  Cat 5 and  Cat 6 are common but Cat 7 might be more suitable for fiber to ethernet.  You may have to upgrade to a better cable.
