SER 5800'S TDP IS 35W , TURBO BOOST IS  45W, ser 5800 maX'S TDP IS  45W , TURBO BOOST IS  54W.

Thanks, How do I find out if I have received is SER5 Max or SER5.
E.g. Is there any option in the BIOS to check?

you could just check the sn code on the bottom of the machine, or you could send us a picture , then we could tell you that.
