Hi all. Beelink SEI12 Pro changes frequency ((997 MHz, 2294 MHz, 2194 MHz))and memory timings every 3-4 seconds, who knows how this should be? And maybe because of this it freezes and produces a blue screen?
In Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16IRX8H laptops, there is also a constant change in memory frequency, where this is solved by enabling Legion Optimization - Unlock CPU Overclocking feature - Enabled in the BIOS. I didn't find such options in my BIOS. Tell me, is it possible to fix the memory frequency (make it unchanged)?
The PC doesn't support memory frequency change.
Please set the BIOS to default.
Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. On Save&Exit page, please click Restore defaults, press enter to confirm, then press F4 to save.
You can't understand me. I've done all the BIOS resets and it's not the problem. The first thing that confuses us is the frequency of the RAM, it is 2294 MHz instead of 2400 and it is not fixed, but changes dynamically every few seconds. 2294, 2194, 997 MHz. Is it possible to fix the frequency at 2400 so that it remains unchanged?
It is normal.
The dynamic changes in frequency you are observing are part of a technology called dynamic frequency scaling, which is designed to optimize power consumption and performance based on the current workload. By the way, the PC doesn't support overclock, so we are unable to set it at the fixed 2400.
So blue screen might be triggered by other factors, like crashed driver or system.
Please update the driver and reset the PC to see if it works.
