GTR7 Pro USB-C Problems

Hello,
I plugged in an external USB-C SSD in my GTR7 Pro but didn't get the performance I expected.
With a USB-C -> USB3.2 adapter, it seems to work better.
There doesn't seem to be a driver problem ???
Is there a motherboard bios update that needs to be done ?

Don't you see the bios version of my GTR7 Pro in the Cpu-Z image ?
It's the GTRP01_P5C6V29.
