USB wireless mouse dongle lag issues

My wireless mouse/keyboard is experiencing a lot of lag, to the point it is nearly impossible to use. This mostly happens during the first few minutes after startup, but can occur later, when a lot of processes are running. It almost seems like interference from something. But the same setup with the same conditions with a different computer is smooth and works flawelessely, so definitely an issue with this mini PC. I tried the usual things like checking battery etc.

Anyone experience this or have any help?
