Had bought a Beelink N100 unit, and it seemed a nice little unit, but it lacked the cpu and video power, so bought another SER 5 5800U with 32G ram.
It has much better CPU and Video than the N100 unit, and most of brothers games have worked great as stock setup.

The exception has been XCOM 2, which seems to have audio lag at times. At some points the audio just stops and then skips parts, or sometimes is a delay and it then continues with complete audio. Seen some mentions of changing the TDP, but BIOS on machines doesn't show the same options to change it as the videos show.

Have tried Universal.x86.Tuning.Utility.V2.msi but it didn't fix issues with problem using there options, and not clear what might fix it.

Most things seem to say the TDP is set to a lower value.
The N100 unit has a setting of 25000 in bios, and it can be changed easily, but haven't since the video on that is much slower.
Gets like 3000 compared to the 17000 of the SER 5 5800U.
Did find a thing deep in BIOS that has similar names, but has lot more options, but all values are showing at 0??

Very impressed with unit, and this is the only issue so far. Have changed vido memory from 3G to 8G, but didn't change issue.

Thanks.

Hello there, if you wanna change the TDP,  you could get into the bios and then ADVANCED-AMD CBS- NBIO COMMON OPTION-SMU COMMON OPTION-SYSTEM MODE CONFIGURATION-BALANCE MODE 45W OR PERFORMANCE MODE 54W-F4 SAVE .

If all games are working fine and only X-Com has a problem, you should open a ticket to the developer. Is not related to Beelink at all, is a software issue. Also, what you can try is update all drivers to latest version, chipset, video and sound.

Look for settings like SmartShift Sustained, Fast, and Slow. Set all three limits to the same value, such as 35000 (35W) or 40000 (40W) if your cooling solution can handle it
