Hi @lightpixel. seems to be a good idea and really looks like premium. Does you GTR7 also show constant fan speed as decribed here ? Would be interesting.

Would you consider 3d printing a small horizontal cradle that has 4 standoffs? The brass standoffs look kind of tacky, but might be nice to have something black/dark gray that cradles it and stands it off 1/4 to 1/2"

Hello. I have done a simple improvisation to decrease the temperature of the system.

Some time ago I received a bottom plate with cooling wholes on it to replace the original one. What I did was to screw the original one and the new one together up on the bottom, the older one on the bottom and the new one on the top of it. This gives me an additional aluminum cooling plate between the bottom plate and the table.

I am attaching here two pictures of what I did. It seems to work and lower the system temperature a few degrees Celsius.
