1. Ram Most things I've found seem to have 16G as most Ram, but one site says it can be upgraded to 64G, but didn't say how?
Was actually looking to go to 32G, but don't want to Buy Ram and find out it will not work.
Just got the machine other day, and GeekBench 6 tests were impressive for CPU, but GPU was a little lower than I was hoping for.
Fully upgraded the Windows 11 and seems to work fine.
2. See info on Ubuntu, but I've got 5 Fedora 37 Linux machines with various AMD Phenom II x6 and x8 CPUs with 16G Ram and 1T SSD drives.
Was looking at upgrading some or all of them, and this might be an option.
Has any test with Fedora Linux been done?
Does the BIOS support F12 or other method to boot from a livecd flash of Fedora?
3. Unit has a 512 NVME disk, but I have a 1G NVME around. What would process be to upgrade it?
Brother had a Acer Predator Helios 500, but it had 2 NVME slots, so installed the 1T in slot and just imaged to the new one.
Seems the New one was about twice the speed of the original one. So major improment.
Only had machine running a few days, but so far looks good.
Thanks.
