Hello,

I own a SER5 pro 5800h, with BIOS rev. 5800H506 (date: 03/29/2023). It is the model with DisplayPort + HDMI.
I'm using Windows 11 Pro.
In Windows Security / Device Security / Security processor details, it states that the Attestation is not supported (see attached screenshot).

I have reinstalled Windows from scratch, cleared CMOS, installed latest AMD drivers...

What could help resolve this ? Some bios setting ? a bios update ?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Thierry

This is a Windows 11 Security Center bug, among other ones. There is actually nothing wrong with your system. Don't worry about it and wait for Microsoft to fix it.

Hi cmillar6,

Why would this necessarily be a Windows 11 Security Center bug ?
By the way I also own a Lenovo laptop equiped with a Ryzen 5800h too, and on which the Attestion is reported as Ready...

I found this googling the error:

TPM attestation isn't working on AMD platforms with ASP fTPM
TPM attestation for AMD platforms with ASP firmware TPM may fail with error code 0x80070490 on Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems. This issue is resolved on newer versions of AMD firmware. Consult with device manufacturers and firmware release notes for which firmware versions contain the update.

Can you debug the code for the TPM? Should be in Event Viewer, not sure exactly where is the path, maybe System. Right-click on start -> Event Viewer -> System Logs -> System

I have a SER6 Pro 7735HS 2xHDMI bios revision 1.13 and it looks fine.

Hello there,

Your TPM2.0 is working fine.  And your BIOS is the latest one.
So no need to worry about it.

Hi Support-03,

Does this mean that all SER5 PRO 5800H systems will report that "Attestation is not supported" ?
Or is this specific to my system (and I could have misconfigured something somewhere) ?

Hi there,

After I check another  SER5800 , it also shows Attestation is not ready. I think it doesn't hurt if it doesn't affect the usage of the PC.
