Hello, I just received mini S N5905 16g 512g model two days ago but since that day it overheats too much.
I applied new thermal paste, turned off turbo mod but it still reaches circa 80~89 C even in idle state.
In addition the hardware monitor in BIOS does not show the fan running,
so I am wondering this overheating is due to BIOS or fan problem or etc.

Your pic of the bios is showing you what's wrong, its not reporting a fan rpm and showing N/A so its likely not spinning at all or at the wrong speed to properly cool the system.

Hello there,

Can you hear the fan spinning when the PC is on?
Could you please send us a picture of the SN on the bottom of the PC ?
Also , please go to BIOS and send us a picture of the Main page, we will see if your BIOS are the latest one.

Hello there,

Your BIOS is the latest one.
But  you do not need to worry if your PC is under 90℃ .

Hello there,

Your BIOS is the latest one.

I am very sorry but it's 86-89C just in idle mode.
If I'd do something, it would easily get over 90C.
And how the N/A fan speed would be explained?
I paid to buy a portable computer, not a portable furnace.

Nice little trick, use piece of thread and put it around the vents when the unit is running.
