Like the title says, my computer goes to sleep on its own or if I select Power>Sleep and it is fine for a couple of hours.
Then it seems to go to full power OFF mode.

During the first couple of hours the power indicator light is off and if I wiggle the mouse or touch the keyboard it wakes up as it should.
After a couple of hours these same actions do nothing and I am forced to push the power button to wake it up.

My power settings in Win11 are 'Balanced'. Screen off in 5 minutes, system sleep in 15 minutes.

Hello there,

I think your PC goes to hibernation after sleep.
If you want to wake it up, you need to press the power button.
So if you don't want it to hibernate, you can turn it off in the power option setting.

Hello there,

I think your PC goes to hibernation after sleep.

I think you may be correct that it hibernates because when I do wake it up with the power button the previously open windows are still open. But I have tried this with automatic power settings disabled and when I manually select Sleep it does the same thing.

However.... without changing the power settings at all, I just moved the USB dongle for my mouse/keyboard from the front USB 3.0 port to the rear USB 2.0 port and then put it to sleep. About 15 hours later I woke it up the way it should be, by simply moving the mouse. So it may be dependent on which USB port is used, not on the power settings.

With my Beelink SEi11 anything plugged into the front USB ports would not bring the computer out of sleep. I had to change my wireless keyboard to the back USB ports so it would wake the computer when I tapped the keyboard.  Sounds like you have the same issue with your SER 5500u.

It is true.
Friendly reminder for item model SEi11320.

①With 5Vsby, the rear USB ports support always-on, enabling you to wake up the PC from sleep by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard.
②The front USB ports do not support always-on as to avoid the LED on your mouse or keyboard staying lit up when the PC is in sleep mode.
