Hello everyone!

I am trying to diagnose two issues I noticed with my GTR6 6900HX. Does anyone else have these issues?

First issue:

- When you have three displays connected, it boots up on one ( as usual ) but then when the operating system loads, it turns that display off ( powers it off, not just no signal )
- Then from there, when you turn on the display which turned itself off... another display turns itself off!
- Then after you turn on the next monitor, it finally works properly.
- Until the screens turn off after not being used, then the process starts again!

I wonder if this is an issue with the device, or the operating system.

Then the other issue is that once or twice and hour, the screen will go completely black for 500ms or so, more than a flicker, less than turning off.

Anyone else notice these issues?

Hello there,

Sorry for the trouble.
From your description, I think the problem is the graphic driver.
Please uninstall the  graphic driver in the deivice manager, and then install the new driver. https://www.amd.com/en/support/a ... /amd-ryzen-9-6900hx

Hello Support! I ought to have mentioned: it is Linux Mint 21.1 :)

I will look further down that line though, on the Linux side.

I have a similar (though not exactly the same) problem. And I'm running Windows 11 Pro.

I tried to post it before here but seems like the post didn't get approved for some reason.

I've given up on a fix, nothing I have tried has made a difference; am hoping a future video card driver fixes it.

Yeah. I've tried all of the fixes suggested by support - thanks for checking.

Same so far: have the latest drivers, latest kernel, etc. Still seeing the issue. Head scratcher.
