I have the Beelink SER5 Mini PC - AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 500GB M.2 2280 NVME SSD. I love it, but even when I bought it I knew I would want to upgrade the memory to 64GB and the SSD to 2TB. I have looked around for videos and documentation. I need help and advice on what to purchase. Here is what I was thinking... Feel free to redirect me bc that is why I am on this forum...

Memory Choice - TEAMGROUP T-Force Zeus DDR4 SODIMM 64GB (2x32GB) 3200MHz (PC4-25600) 260 Pin CL22

SSD - I need advice. Would you leave the system drive & add 2nd 2.5 HDD or replace it with something like the SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen 4?

Hi there,

About the RAM , TEAMGROUP  DDR4 SODIMM 64GB (2x32GB)  is ok.
About the SSD, you can buy Crucial , Samsung or Kingston 2TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD or 2TB 2.5-inch HDD SATA III.
There are many options available on Amazon , here is the link for your reference. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=2TB+2 ... &ref=nb_sb_noss

Thank you for the advice! I was hoping that was OK. But I guess I need to make sure it is compatible with the AMD Ryzen, and it is double rank instead of single rank for performance.

I appreciate the link for the SSD options too!

Hi,

I am in the same position. Were you able to keep the 500gm drive and just add a second, or is that impossible? I was thinking of adding a second 1tb.

Thanks in advance.
