Hello, I don't think you need to replace paste now that system is acting good. Those 92C spikes are nothing to worry about, I have them too after I replaced paste, is normal, the system is not running at 92C, maybe 1-2 seconds. This CPU has a TJMax of 95C and cooling system is running good, those spikes are hit before vents rotate faster. Just make sure you set 45W in BIOS and system will function properly.

You were almost there. What was holding the board in was the antenna wires. You have to disconnect them from the WIFI module. Two tiny gold connectors, under the glue, that pop off. They will reconnect when you are done.

thank you for the response, I will try again to dismantle my machine and find those gold wifi connectors.

thanks again for the response, here are my new temps with averages of below 58C for 30 minutes of Chrome and multiple tabs open.
