SEi12 1235U Serial number

I've purchased the SEi12 model 1235U and when attempting to take down the serial number for asset management it shows defaultstring meaning no number was programmed. Is there a tool available that can allow this number to be put in on the BIOS so that it matches the number on the bottom?
