Hi,

Just receid my Mini S12 Pro. And its awsome!

But I got a particulary problem, its heating (a lot!!)

Just indle windows 11 i got 69º C, in load passed 91º C and starting troutling. So I disasembling the Cooler and the thermal compound was totaly dry!!!

After replace the thermal compund for high quality one I got this temperatures: Idle 61º C load 84º C. Its better but still hot!

Coulud guys help with this? My supect its a ACPI problem because the system was not entering in a hich C state (stay on C3 only). There any teek on Bios to enter in the High C state C6 or C7?  Or i got a defective unity?

This Mini PC is intented to run 24x7 (and I can´t keep this high thermal values)

Kind regards,

Just for reference:
My Mini S12 Pro has an idle temperature of 54° C - 58 °C. The Cinebench R23 multi-core benchmark pushes it to 97° C.

Above 90° c also seems very high to me.

Hi. I also experience the same problem with beelink s12 pro (cpu n100). During video reproduction the maximum temperature is 97 °C (musured with Hwinfo). Solutions?

When I stream two youtube videos (VP9) in 4K in parallel, l get only 68° - 81° C.

Which kind of videos are you talking about? If you provide a link, I will check the temperature on my S12 Pro for the same scenario.
If you get these high temperatures I assume it´s a codec that is not hardware-accelerated and is instead executed on the CPU. If the CPU maxes out (not unusual for video decoding), 97° C seems normal. At least 97° C is what I get during Cinebench (see my last post).

Actually, I have issues on my unit with the recognition of one codec (AV1), that should have hardware acceleration on the N95/100 but does not work.
I made a thread about that already (if the videos that are causing the heating on your device are in AV1, this might be interesting for you as well).

Hi, do you have a guide (video or web) on disassembling the computer? I'm having the same problem and i also want to replace the thermal paste.

Just for comparison, here's what AIDA 64 gives when I run Cinebench R23 multi-core for a few minutes on my mini S12 (not Pro!).
Room temperature is 28degs c.
Some throttling for part of the test.

Not sure if I can set the fan speed to increase more in the Bios.

Because maybe we need the photo of your fan or the photo of your main page of BIOS.

Hi all
For my N95 MiniS12 (not Pro) an exchange of emails with Support suggested a small setting change and this was enough to lower the 100% load Cinebench test CPU core temps to 76degs c (room temp today is 31 degs c - we have a heat dome in the sky!).
Processor max frequency is now 1.7GHz versus 2.7GHz which is still enough for my usage

This is what I changed:
Turn off the turbo:  Go to control panel ---power option--change to  high performance---change plan setting---change advanced power option---processor power management--change it to 99%

You can compare this with post#7
