Daul monitor not working 2nd HDMI not working

I have never utilized the 2nd HDMI port, wanted to add 2nd monitor.  1st HMDI works with no issues as far as i can tell.  I am not using an adapter, I am using a new monitor with HDMI direct input and have tested it on another computer with no issues.  I have also tried the HDMI to VGA adapter it works fine on 1st port but nothing on 2nd port.

It would appear the 2nd HDMI port is not working, I have seen other posts on this subject but nothing definitive as to my circumstances.
Would appreciate any assistance or suggestions.
Do I need to update the Drivers or BIOS?
Is this a common issue with Beelink SEi8 8279U?
