I got this PC for development, so I don't feel that aspect is so important.

I tried the FreeSync demo and found it to be very effective. The movement is very smooth, and it's completely different from the days of 30hz. If you can only get 30hz with HDMI, please try a DP cable. You will be really comfortable.
