I'm looking at adding a 2tb ssd drive as well to my new SER5 (working well so far) and am new to ssds. Can anybody tell me exactly what style and physical size of drive I need, and if I need a cable or ribbon to it attach it or do I simply plug it into the connectors in the pic?

The type of SSD SATA III drive you need is;
SATA III 2.5" 7mm (0.28") Internal Solid State Drive

Thanks so much!

I think any 2.5 inch internal SSD will work. I put a 1TB in mine the day I got it, and it worked fine.

The type of SSD SATA III drive you need is;
SATA III 2.5" 7mm (0.28") Internal Solid State Drive

It connects directly to the connector showing on your picture.

I hope it helps!
