Hi, I have the same problem.

Good luck getting help here, seems Beelink doesn't care once they sell you the stuff.

I am simply ignoring the update notification now ... never change a running system and all that ...

My experiences with GT1 devices, this won't work.

In case anybody is still following this - I managed to sort it.

I removed SuperSU and installed Magisk instead, then selected the Systemupdate under Magisk Hide.
After that the update went smooth like it should ... so not MY system that was flawed but Beelinks :lol

If you SELL rooted boxes you damn well need to make sure they can still update even with SuperSU installed :@

Also: Putting the link to some cheap "Movie Player" on the home screen with the update instead of to Kodi like before, really? Kodi is still installed with no way to change the shortcut on the home screen, so what was that all about?
I had to google in order to find modified apk's for that launcher that still have the proper Kodi shortcut.

I don't know what Beelink is doing here, but this was my 1st and now definitely my LAST ever Beelink product. This is ridiculous and no way to treat customers!
