Both the GTR5 and GTR6 show a Max 2TB stated in their specs.

Okay so this 'Max up to 2TB' storage capacity for the M.2 SSD's mentioned in the specs seems to be a case of what disk partitioning scheme is used. If it's set as MBR the storage capacity is going to be limited to 2TB, and if it's set as GPT it's max size can theoretically go up to 9400000000TB.

What partitioning scheme does Beelink's WINPE Windows installer format the SSD to. MBR or GPT ? Thanks.

Disk Management -> select your C: drive -> right-click and view disk properties.
By the way, one can convert an MBR disk to GPT using M$ MBR2GPT tool or a third-party alternative.

Thanks ! If the partition scheme isn't the (2TB Max) reason, then it should be feasible to install an M.2 SSD greater than 2TB so long as it has a GPT partition scheme.. which the WINPE installer sets by default or it can be done by conversion.. Unless there is another reason why the M.2 SSDs have a 2TB Max size limit, I see no logical reason why it's stated in the specs for a modern PC. Any thoughts on this ?! Cheers.
