Am I missing the search bar?  Anyway, I just purchased the SER 4700u and I have attached a 7mm 2TB HDD, but it won't turn on.  I have attached a regular laptop 500GB 2.5" HDD, it turns on and I can see it right away.  I thought the mounting bolt holes were a MM too far forward even and just left them off, but nothing.  I also swapped out the GTI-SATA for the regular ribbon just to try everything that I physically could.  I'm on my second Seagate mobile 2TB HDD and neither one of them could be picked up by the computer.  Does anyone have a possible solution?  TIA.

The cable is intact and connected to the motherboard and lid side with the ribbon labeled M and L.  The locks on both sides are also engaged.

Here are three pictures showing the lid, motherboard, and both.  I also replaced the regular SATA with the GTI-SATA ribbon.  It did not make a difference.

You can see the ST2000LM007.  The other two are accounted for.  That one is not.  How do I get it to become usable in the OS?  Can anyone help?
