Repaste 5600H

Hi all, I was wondering whether repasting my Beelink SER 5600H worth it. I don't wanna damage any components and it seems interior has some kind of isulated tape that needs to be peeled off in order to disassemble the heatsink.

Hi, I meant repasting the processor with thermal paste so disassemble the heatsink repaste with quality thermal paste and assembly everything again. I would expecto to lower temps by 4-6 degrees.

What do you mean by "repasting"? ...glue something that came off or broken? ...refurrbish/upgrade?!?

I have the GTR5 5900HX but the SER 5600H seems to have potential.

I believe that replacing the thermal paste is not something that invalidates the warranty, but that should be clarified.

Anyway, changing the thermal paste is great for better dissipation.

I do not know what is involved with repasting the CPU but the old saying may apply here "if it ain't broke don't fix".

You can paste the heat-sink again if it makes you happy but if your pc is not overheating then it's wasted effort. You aren't going to cool these CPU's much unless you have magic thermal paste.

Yes you can repaste it... just disassemble carefully and reassemble in reverse order.

One note here ... do not use conductive thermal pasts. A camphor based compound is preferable.
When you see the CPU, you'll understand why.
