I have the same problem. I am only getting about 1mbps, and unstable. All other devices at the exact same spot are getting the full 30mbps solid speed of my internet.
Also it can't see *any* of my neighbors' wifi. Other devices can see them.
I have 2.4GHz DIR-645.
I installed 2 OTA updates when I got it, before testing, and later a third one.
My serial begins with S912
It also happened, when I plugged it back in and switched on, that the wifi won't even turn on at all, no matter how many times I clicked "on". It remained off. I reboot the device – again nothing. I turned off and on – now there Is wifi again, but again slow.
I placed the box in the best places, and in different angles. Ookla Speed test - 1mbps, unstable. A large download – average speed was 0.4mbps. It still sees only my wifi.
The router is on Max power, and I tried everything - all channels, channel widths. It didn't change anything.
I even tried resetting to factory defaults
Is only my device faulty or are all of them the same? Should I return it or wait for a fix?
