boot from usb

hello everyone,


i wanna install a windows 11 version in portuguese from a usb drive created by the windows app created instaler disk. but the boot menu never identify the usb drive plugued at the computer, where i can change to habilit this function at bios?

This sounds like either a hardware problem, or the USB drive not being properly set up as a UEFI bootable device (which the Windows media creation tool should be doing correctly).

If your'e confident the USB stick is good, could try using Ventoy instead-

* Download Ventoy (https://www.ventoy.net/en/download.html)
* Use the tool to create a Ventoy bootable USB drive
* Use the Windows media creation tool to download an ISO image of the version of Windows you need
* Copy the Windows ISO onto the second (data) partition on the USB stick

You then have the option to put the ISOs for multiple bootable images, including Windows, Linux, DBAN etc. on your USB stick (depending on the size of the drive). When you boot into Ventoy, it then gives you a menu to choose which ISO image to load.
