Why do you want to do that? If you have it in a good ventilated and clean place, you will not need to clean it for many years.

Well, if they are dirty, then you are in a very dirty area, because they should not fill up with shit until a few years have passed.

I haven't torn into mine that deep yet but I believe the easiest and safest method would be to use canned air and direct it into the side air vents and blow out the dust.  Power off the unit, then try using low pressure by holding the nozzle a few inches away from the vents so you don't cause damage the fans by spinning them to fast.

Alternatively, use a vacuum cleaner and an attachment nozzle to try and suck the dust out.  This will most likely cause the fans to spin up really fast so be careful - you do not want to damage the fans by causing them to over-speed.

Some vacuum cleaners also allow for connecting the hose on the exhaust side and use it as a blower to blow out the dust.

I've built and repaired many computers for my clients and even those systems in a clean office environment will collect dust on the inside.  Peoples skin creates a lot of dust in a room over time and the fans will suck that up because it's in the air.

If you can remove the fans, hold them still.  Then I have used a can of compressed air to blow out dust.  Be careful.  A rush of air on the motherboard can cause a lot of static electricity which could blow out the CPU.  I use this method when the fan is in my hand.
