Copy and paste don't work in Google chrome Why?

Please do not update Google Chrome, the old version of Google Chrome does not have this problem

Version 57 of Google Chrome is the last version of Chrome that copy and paste works with a remote.  You can uninstall updates in Droid Settings>Apps>Chrome>Uninstall Updates and then reopen Chrome  and it should revert to v57 of Chrome.

Be sure to turn off auto updates off in the Play Store for Google Chrome or it will update to a version that does not work with remotes.

Alternatively if you have a keyboard the keyboard shortcuts ctrl + c and ctrl + v still work for copy and paste in the updated versions of Chrome.
