Android kills background tasks

Hi,
    GT-King - B922 - fw 912P0. Using SMBSync2 app the tasks that need to synchronize a lot of files (eg 20,000) stop running suddenly after a few minutes without having finished and without errors or messages in the log. Inside the Android logcat I found this message

"04-06 13: 54: 59.135 I / ActivityManager (3784): Killing 26619: com.sentaroh.android.SMBSync2 / u0a57 (adj 0 ): Too many Binders sent to SYSTEM "

It seems that Android kills the background task.
I have already tried to exclude the app from "optimize battery" but without success.

Is there anayone with the same problem with this or with other apps

It may be that the memory of this application is leaking. If the system memory is not enough, the process will be aborted. This can only allow software developers to optimize this problem, and it is difficult for us to help.

Hi, below my advice on B922:

• Is it possible to merge different firmware version for all GT-King models into only one single version? The hardware differences between all models (described in this post) are so "heavy" to justify different firmware versions? In this way I think that it woulb be more simple to correct common bugs and it would be less confusion...
• Adding a FileServer that supports SMB v2 and SMB v3
• My LightHome stops working when I install this app (Discovery+). When I uninstall this app LightHome returns to work perfectly
• Improve the ability to use other launchpad instead of LightHome

1.We cannot merge the versions because their motherboards are different, which prevents them from flashing the same firmware
2.Now we have the file server，currently can it support SMB V2? For the SMB V3, we can support one version currently
3.Please try this lighthome to check if it can solve your problem

Thanks for the answers. Now I am not at home and I can't use my GT-King...

• So.... different GT-King models have different motherboard.... Ok, but in my opinion it's not a good projectual choice... every time there is a common bug or a new function to add you have to release different firmware versions... If when I bought my B922 I had known that different "models" were being sold I would have checked the different characteristics verifying that there were the ones I needed (eg wake up on lan). Anyway ... ok.
• Do you confirm that this version of FileServer supports SAMBv2?
• Thanks for the new LightHome apk. Have you tried it with the app Discovery+? Now I can't try it...
• I suggest a launcher designed for a TV. Now I use Simple TV launcher but some functions (eg Power menu or general settings) are not directly accessible
• Another suggestion... I know in B922 model there is no wake up on lan. Is there another way to wake up it remotely? When my GT-King is on I control it from a PC using scrcpy

Because the B922 motherboard is different from others，which can not wake up on lan.

question 2: I am checking it with our technician

question3:Can it works normally with the new lighthome?

question4: If we use a new launcher ,we need to spend a lot of time on adjusting it

Hi @beelink I am sorry for the late response. I tried the LightHome version that you suggest here https://beelink-my.sharepoint.co ... 3iTXfW1K8Q?e=RpIsJG and it seems to work with Discovery+ installed.

But now I have two different Lighthome. Is it possible to upgrade the original version? Is it necessary to release a new firmware version?
