Beelink, it seems you know about poor bluetooth performance issues when there is a HDD/SDD installed. I started having the same problem as matt and other members after installing a 1TB 2.5 inch Crucial SSD. Before that I could get bluetooth signal on my Echo Show which sits about 8 meters away. I also use a small bluetooth speaker. After installing the SSD I practically have to put the bluetooth speaker on top of the GTR mini computer to get it to play sound. It does not reach the Echo Show anymore and with my bluetooth headphones I can't go further than 3 meters from the GTR box without loosing signal. I am using an external FiiO M7 USB DAC player to overcome the bluetooth range limitations of the GTR computer. However, that defeats the purpose of having onboard bluetooth.
Do you have a connector on the motherboard to put an external Bluetooth antenna, or some way to boost bluetooth signal level in software? |
