Can't download images from Google Chrome?

Anyone know the trick to downloading images from websites on Google Chrome?
I can do it from my phone, just wondering how to on GT King SA9X,  913po.

I have reported this problem to the technicians, and I also want this feature. When I want to change my desktop background, it will be troublesome if I can’t download the image directly from the browser.

Ok I think I know what is going on here, hear me out. The OS is not listening for "LISTENING_EVENT" on secondary pages of any apps, in our case the long press for context menu 'LONG_PRESS_ACTION". Those are probably not the correct terms but close, Im not a coder.

Here's two examples of long known issues.
Nova Launcher, on the main launcher screen you can drag and drop and long press any item, but when you navigate to a secondary page e.g. All Apps screen to drag apps to launcher screen theres no drag and drop or long press available.
Google Chrome and the infamous picture download.
On the main browser page where the URL bar and Google Discover feed is I can long press articles and get a pop up context menu. After I open an article {which on my phone is the first page I can download an image from with a long press} this becomes the secondary page of Chrome and no long press available.

I hope this helps someone with more coding skills than me figure out exactly where the problem is.

This may be of some importance too, on my phone every download image context menu looks like attached photo with the thumbnail preview and that downloadfile.bin extention. Might figure out how that downloadfile.bin plays into it, could be the missing link here too.

Ok Beelink this is what changed in Chrome v58. The first version we cannot get the context menu to come up. The picture shows the changelog for chrome v58 and the pdf is doc.1 and explains what was changed. See what the technicians can do with this.

In the meantime I found an app that I can download images with by copying links from chrome and downloading that way.
