[solved] Netflix Add-on : no sound (CoreELEC)

Hi,
I have no sound no matter what setting I am using when watching Netflix using the Add-on for CoreELEC/LibreELEC on the GS-King.
Any idea ? I did have the very same issue with the GT-King with earlier firmwares.

SOLVED:
the setting 'Enable Dolby Digital Plus' had to be disabled as it won't work with my account and/or my tv.

I'm using firmware 904P0, I had the same issue with 902P0.

Is it just Netflix under CoreELEC that does not have sound??  Do your other media have sound on CoreELEC?

I have 914P0_wol firmware
but same situation, i noticed that kodi
no longer recognizes the android driver for RAW audio output
then no more digital audio on Android side.
Instead under CoreELEC all ok from my part

Running the stock Beelink firmware and the stable version of CoreELEC, Netflix working and has audio, but only playing in 960x540 (480p).  
I tested the Netflix app running on stable CoreELEC 9.2.3 running on my Beelink GT King, GT1 Mini2 AND this new GS King X.

On each device, when I opened the Netflix app, it had to do a Widevine update looking for the Widevine CDM.  After the update, none of my Amlogic devices running CoreELEC will play in 1080p any more, they now only play in DVD quality.

I don't have any problems with the audio on any of my boxes running CoreELEC with the Netflix plugin version 1.5.0, just that in the US, even this plugin has been black listed so it only plays in DVD quality.

They are also being software decoded using inputstream.adaptive H264 decoder.  It was my understanding that by software decoding the video, they were able to play in 1080p, guess not.

I don't see that issue on my end...... I am now running the 914PO firmware (yesterday I was running Minixfreak's ATV firmware).  I am using Android Kodi 19 beta, with the Embuary skin and Emby app, my videos are playing with DD AND DTS.........
It says "passthrough output device    AudioTrack(IEC), Kodi IEC packer(recommended).

I can install Kodi 18 and test that if you wish.

i am the maintainer of Kodi Netflix add-on, due to NF changes all ARM devices can not get 1080P res., is required an add-on update.

Under android, i am speaking about stable version of Kodi 18, and not Kodi 19 that currently is not for final users

for me, all non Netflix media  do have sound working, only when using Netflix Add-on, there is "no audio stream" available.
but the same version of the add-on works flawlessly on my gt-king.
i cannot comment about android, i do not use it.

My bad, the setting 'Enable Dolby Digital Plus' was enabled, and as I have a non-premium NF account, I do not have access to those audio stream.
By disabling it, I have sound :).
