i install android tv remote control on my phone, but i cant detect the box, did anyone got this working? i set remote to on from the box settings , the phone and box are connected to the same network

I don't think this box will work with Google's Android TV remote app as its not an official Android TV device. I haven't gotten it to work with any of mine so far.

Here's an alternative that works:
Download Smart iRemote from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/ap ... RemoteIME&hl=en

On the GT1 go into Settings and scroll down to Remote & Accessories
Select Remote and turn this ON

Launch the Smart iRemote app and if it doesn't automatically find your GT1 then hit the first icon with the magnifying glass and enter the IP address of the GT1 box.

It's working great for me so far.

I can't remember there being one but I could be wrong. To my knowledge there are only iOS apps to control Kodi like the the Official Kodi Remote.

You can try some of the remote apps like AnyMote but I can't say if it works or not as I haven't tried them.

If you do come across one that works please let us know.

I have both iPhone and android and I wasn't able to find a remote app that works on iphone. on the android the only one that works for the whole box is the Smart iRemote [Fustec]. For kodi you can use the official kodi remote.. Kore on both the app store and the play store. You really should get the c120 air mouse if you don't have it.. for me the box is useless without that remote.

"Smart iRemote" was working great on my old MX tv box, but not on GT1.
On GT1 "Remote & Accessories" selection, just enable bluetooth searching...
Not working on my GT1...
