Are there different versions of the GT1?

Someone in a different thread suggested we post the version of our GT1 when we make a comment in a thread.
It was suggested that we post the version based on our serial number, e.g. S/N A912 ,S/N S912 or S/N G912

Are there different versions of the GT1? And if so, what are the differences? Very curious with this one.

I thought each thread was for a different topic??? My question has nothing to do with firmware 106 per se, it is about different versions of the GT1.

Yes I believe there are different hardware versions. Seems something to do with the wireless/bluetooth chipset at least because this was broken by loading the "wrong" firmware.
