Is there a way for GT King to display 4K (3840x2160 pixels) photos natively on a 4K TV, without downscaling? I noticed that all GUI elements (including photos in apps like Gallery) are rendered using 1080p resolution, even when I set the display resolution to 2160p in the player's settings. Would it be possible to add an option to render GUI at 4K on GT-King?

Because 1080 can adapt to all displays, the current GUI is 1080. If customers have this need, we will consider adjusting the GUI to 4K.

Definitely, there is such a need! I bought this player primarily to enjoy 4K content on my 65" 4K TV, and that includes viewing my large collection of family photos. Now I am very disappointed that one of the most powerful 4K Android boxes cannot display 4K images. Please add this as an option in your future firmware update.

I found a solution for this problem: replacing Android with CoreELEC, which now officially supports Beelink GT King, and allows you to set Kodi to native 4K screen resolution: https://coreelec.org/  The installation took only a few minutes, and now I can finally showcase my large collection of 4K potographs.
