I tried Kodi and the out of the box Music Player but I couldn't get 5.1 audio output (using a Denon amp).
Some example AAC/WAV audio files:

On Droid Settings I activated all audio formats on Manual mode and on Kodi I activated pass through but the output is always 2.0.
If I play a video file with DTS or Dolby Digital the output comes ok (5.1).
Is this a known problem?
