Kodi not displaying in 4K

How do we get Kodi to display in 4K?? It stays in 1080p mode even when the resolution on in the Android settings in 4K.

Kodi can't display in 4k, i mean the skin. Kodi is just full HD in order to be light and smooth. But if you play a 4k video it will change resolution and play it in 4k (according to official wiki kodi).
The maximum resolution for kodi menu is 1920*1080 and 2160p for video. Just press "o" on keyboard while watching 4k video for the resolution.

Hmm, well it doesn't seem to be able to do this on the Beelink. When playing at 4K resolution Kodi is only displaying a scaled 1920x1080 picture.

I know other 912 boxes do show 4K in Kodi correctly but the config on this box seems to be locked at 1920x1080@60Hz. It should display the resolution like this on Kodi Krypton:

Do you know if there is any way of modifying Kodi's config file on this box?
