Changing font and display size (not resolution) causes bottom row display glitch

I am using this media box on a display limited to 800x480 using a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable and use the AV port on the box.

Whenever I go to the display settings, and make the font size and display size as large as possible ("LARGEST") setting, the display will glitch and keep trying to auto-change resolution when the bottom navigation bar is displayed. When the glitch occurs, the bottom navigation bar is not visible (even though it is supposed to be displayed).

The display will stop glitching as soon as i set the display and font settings back to default or 'medium' or 'large' instead of 'largest'.

Second, is there a way to manually set the output resolution? I do not see any options in the screen settings besides the 1080i. When i connect to a 4k monitor, I do see 4K options... but no lower resolutions.

This error is not resolved in firmware 906P0. Please advise.

These problems are still not resolved with newest firmware.

Simple fix is to add option to customize bottom navigation bar with number of choices, and which choices are selected (drag order of icons and select which are active). For example, I would disable the screenshot icon so that when making font and display size largest, everything will fit on the screen at low resolution.

Alternative fix is to change minimum padding amount for icon, so that it can be more compact at low resolution.
