I have the same issue here with my GT-King. No mater which TV App (Smart IPTV, IPTV Smarters Pro, ...) and which résolution (HD, FHD, UHD) video and sound freeze and then the device reboot. It can happen when I simply change channel or when I'm watching a channel after 10mn or more. Replacing the HDMI cable don't fix the problem for me.
It seems that it is a know issue with s922x device than had been fixed by other constructor

I really liked this box at first, even recommended it to others on social media. I was very impressed with its capabilities. Then it started to freeze and reboot during IPTV viewing which became more frequent, and now it reboots constantly even from the home screen. I'm becoming extremely disappointed, has anyone got to the bottom of this reboot issue that I see has been going on for many months?

OK... So I may have found a fix, It might not be the same for all, but when thinking about anything else that had been different, I noticed that I have been hearing a lot of notification sounds (that I can't even see BTW) So I turned off all notifications and uninstalled Facebook and Skype which had been recently installed. Everything seems to be working OK now. I think notifications were crashing the system for some reason.

I changed the HD to a higher quality and still has a problem with reboot.
